KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Prairies once covered most of western Missouri and the Missouri Department of Conservation is encouraging people to start their own plot in their backyard.
Media Specialist for the MDC Bill Graham told KXCV/KRNW that people can enjoy their own prairie if they keep it small and simple.
